Now, he’s facing charges of indecency with a child with sexual contact. In Texas, that’s no small deal—a second-degree felony that could lock him away for two to 20 years.
Fast forward to now, Brennan’s 40 and running Next Generation MMA/Blitz MMA in Waco. The affidavit paints a grim picture. The victim recounted how Brennan “kissed her hundreds of times and touched her vagina above and below her clothes hundreds of times between 2013 and 2015.” This nightmare unfolded in various corners of the gym, nearly every day. She broke her silence to the police on Nov. 2, 2023.
But wait, there’s more. Brennan, apparently, poured his heart out in Facebook messages, talking about love and kisses. When gym members got wind of the abuse and confronted him, his stories were all over the place. Lies, lies, and more lies, the affidavit suggests.
Cowan and Brennan’s love story began in 2022, right before she snagged a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series. But after facing Jamey-Lyn Horth at UFC on ESPN 45 in April 2023 and losing, she hasn’t stepped back into the ring.
