Former UFC Light Heavyweight Jamahal Hill Arrested Following Altercation: Report

Well, here’s the latest scoop, folks. TMZ Sports has some juicy info. They’re saying that James Anthony Hill Jr. is Jamahal Hill’s brother. Yup, you heard it right.

Now, let’s talk about Jamahal Hill. Former Ultimate Fighting Championship light heavyweight champ. This guy’s been in a bit of a pickle lately. He’s had a brush with the law, allegedly.

According to our friends at TMZ Sports, Hill was nabbed by the cops earlier this week. The charge? One misdemeanor count of aggravated domestic violence. This happened in Kent County, Michigan, in the Grand Rapids metro area.

The victim? His elder brother, James Anthony Hill Jr. Poor guy’s reported to have sustained a “serious or aggravated injury.” We’re still waiting for more details about the arrest.

Records show that Hill’s due in court on Jan.22.

Brian Butler, Hill’s management rep, had something to say about all this. He took to social media yesterday evening to share his thoughts. He’s standing by his client, insisting on Hill’s innocence and denying all allegations.

In his own words, “The recent “click bait” headlines about Hill were based on an alleged dispute between him and his older brother. Jamahal adamantly maintains his innocence and denies the false accusations. We will not be commenting anymore about this until the truth comes out in court.”

Hill’s been out of the game since he snagged the light heavyweight title against Glover Teixeira at UFC 283. Sadly, the Michigan native had to give up the title in July due to an Achilles tendon rupture. That happened during a pickup basketball game, of all things.

Since then, the 32-year-old has been nursing himself back to health. He’s hoping to make a comeback in the summer of 2024. Here’s hoping!
