Rodolfo Vieira to Fight Armen Petrosyan in Las Vegas February Card

Well, well. Rodolfo Vieira and Armen Petrosyan are set to clash again. This middleweight meeting has been rebooked for the UFC Fight Night event on Feb. 10. MMA Fighting was the first to break the news.

These two were supposed to duke it out at UFC Fight Night 231 on Nov. 4. But, alas, it didn’t happen. Petrosyan fell ill, or so they say, and had to pull out of the match.

Now, let’s talk about Vieira. This guy’s a jiu-jitsu phenom with a 9-2 record. He’s won two of his last three fights in the Octagon. His last fight? It was back in April. He managed to secure a Round 2 arm-triangle submission against Cody Brundage. Impressive, right?

Petrosyan, on the other hand, has the same record as Vieira, 9-2. He’s managed to bounce back from his second loss in the Ultimate Fighting Championship to Caio Borralho in July 2022. He’s currently on a two-fight winning streak, with unanimous decision wins against A.J. Dobson and Christian Leroy Duncan.

The Fight Night event on Feb. 10 is going to be a big one. It’s happening at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. And guess what? It’s headlined by another middleweight matchup between Jack Hermansson (23-8) and Dana White’s Contender Series alum Joseph Pyfer (12-2).

And there’s more. Gregory Rodrigues (14-5) is set to face divisional veteran Brad Tavares (20-8) in a three-round affair. It’s the third middleweight bout of the evening. Can’t wait, can you?
