UFC 140 is officially in the books. ‘Jones vs. Machida’-led card took place at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, 12 years ago. Traditionally, UFC has handed out bonuses for Fight of the Night, Submission of the Night, and Knockout of the Night. The bonuses ranged from $20,000 up to $120,000. In 2014, the promotion has announced the Performance of the Night bonuses will replace the existing Knockout and Submission of the Night awards. The bonuses will be $50,000 each. There are two types of awards:

  • Fight of the Night is awarded to both fighters in the most exciting fight of the night.
  • Performance of the Night is awarded to fighters who put on the best individual performance.

The Performance of the Night bonus went to Chan-Sung Jung and Frank Mir, who will be leaving the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with an extra $50,000. Jon Jones Vs.
