Bryce Mitchell Appreciates Josh Emmett’s Restraint Post-KO at UFC 296

Alright, let’s dive into this. So, a tweet from Bryce Mitchell (@ThugnastyMMA) pops up. It’s a shoutout to Josh Emmett (@JoshEmmettUFC). The tweet reads, “Thank you @JoshEmmettUFC. God bless you brother.” There’s a picture attached, but we can’t quite make out what it is.

Now, we’re shifting gears. We’re talking about some tech stuff. There’s a script running on the page. It’s checking the screen width, and if it’s less than or equal to 400, it hides an element with the id ‘adViAi’. It’s got some other stuff going on too, but we won’t get into that.

Next, we’ve got an advertisement. It’s just sitting there, doing its thing.

Now we’re back to Bryce Mitchell. This guy thinks he could’ve kicked the bucket if Josh Emmett had landed any more hits after knocking him out at UFC 296. It was a last-minute thing, Mitchell stepping in for Giga Chikadze, who had to bow out due to an injury.

Emmett sent Mitchell to la-la land with a right hook. It was a knockout punch, one for the books. But, Mitchell thinks it could’ve been way worse. He’s grateful Emmett held back, didn’t follow up with more punches.

Mitchell’s got a lot of work ahead of him, but he’s not bitter. He’s grateful to Emmett. He even released a video on social media, saying, “Because right after he knocked me out, he could have followed up with the hammerfist and it probably would have killed me.”

Emmett didn’t do that, though. He was content with his knockout and walked away. Mitchell is thankful for that. He’s got love for Emmett’s whole team, the Alpha Male team.

Post-knockout, Mitchell was in bad shape. He was convulsing, his legs were wobbly. The commentators, especially Joe Rogan, were yelling for him to sit down, to avoid further injury. Mitchell doesn’t remember much after that, just waking up in an ambulance. But he’s grateful to Rogan too, for looking out for him.
