Lee’s not too shabby himself, boasting an 11-1 record after clinching the Road to UFC 2022 featherweight title. Marcel Dorff of Euro Sport NL spilled the beans first on X (you know, the artist formerly known as Twitter). And yep, the fighters gave it the ol’ thumbs up on their socials.
Amil’s coming in hot off a Round 2 TKO win against Fernie Garcia. That was back in February at UFC Fight Night 236. The dude’s from California and snagged his UFC contract by impressing the big wigs on Dana White’s Contender Series earlier this year.
Lee, on the other hand, punched his ticket to the big show via the Road to UFC Asia. He topped Zha Yi in the featherweight finals, also in February 2023. “The Korean Tiger” just bounced back after a year’s break, securing a unanimous decision win over Blake Bilder at UFC Fight Night 235.
