So, there’s this UFC vet, Mike Perry, right? He totally went off about Dana White’s comments. You know, the ones about Merab Dvalishvili not wanting to fight his buddy, Aljamain Sterling. It’s all over the MMA blogs.
Oh, and Dvalishvili? He just scored a big win against Henry Cejudo at UFC 298. That victory marked his 10th in a row. Post-fight, Dana White was all praises, even promising Merab a shot at the title.
But here’s the kicker. Before this, Dana had some choice words for Merab. Called him out for dodging a fight with Sterling, his close pal. Perry, now a big name in bare-knuckle boxing, didn’t hold back. He ripped into Dana on his Overdogs Podcast.
“I heard Dana be like, ‘Yeah, ’cause [Merab Dvalishvili] wouldn’t fight his friend, you know how much we f—ing love that here,” Perry said. His tone? Pure sarcasm.
“They f—king pick and choose whoever the f—k they want, whenever the f—k they want. They do whatever the f—k they want, and no one can tell them anything about it. That’s where it’s f—king annoying and I lose interest,” he continued.
Perry didn’t stop there. He called them “rude, disrespectful a—holes” who don’t care about the fighters risking it all in the ring. “It’s f—king childish,” he added, comparing Dana White unfavorably to NFL owners, who he says would never trash-talk their players like this.
Talk about a heated rant, huh?
