Alright, let’s talk about some UFC action. We’ve got a middleweight showdown on the horizon. Roman Dolidze is set to square off against Nassourdine Imavov. This clash is gonna be the main event at an Ultimate Fighting Championship event on Feb. 3.
Now, this isn’t just hearsay. The news first popped up on MMA TIME. Dolidze himself confirmed the bout on his social media. So, it’s pretty much official. The only thing is, the UFC Fight Night card doesn’t have a location or venue yet. But hey, that’s just logistics.
According to MMAjunkie.com, this fight was initially supposed to happen at UFC Fight Night 233 on Dec. 9. But, you know, things change.
Let’s talk about Dolidze. The guy had a four-win streak going on. But then, he lost to Marvin Vettori at UFC 286 on March 18. It was a unanimous decision loss, and it snapped his winning streak. But “The Caucasian” still has a decent record in UFC. He’s 6-2, with four KO/TKO victories under his belt.
Now, on to Imavov. His last fight was against Chris Curtis at UFC 289. But it ended prematurely, just 3:04 into Round 2, because of an accidental clash of heads. Before that, Imavov lost a five-round bout against the current middleweight king, Sean Strickland. Despite these setbacks, Imavov’s record in the Octagon isn’t too shabby. He’s won four out of his first five fights. So, this upcoming fight should be a good one.
