Sean Brady-Vicente Luque UFC Atlantic City Main Event on March 30

Here’s some news for all you fight fans out there. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has announced main events for all fight cards up to April. The only exception? Their show in Saudi Arabia.

The announcement came via a promotion on Friday. UFC Atlantic City, which you might also know as UFC on ESPN 53, has revealed its main attraction. It’s gonna be a welterweight showdown at the Boardwalk Hall.

The fighters? Sean Brady (15-1) and Vicente Luque (22-9-1). These two are set to clash on March 30 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It’s gonna be a night to remember, folks.

Let’s talk about Brady. He bounced back from his first defeat—a knockout loss to Belal Muhammad, where he seemed to run out of steam. He defeated Kelvin Gastelum in the third round of their December match. Brady started his professional career with 15 straight wins, including five in the Octagon. This Philly native has some notable victories under his belt, over Jake Matthews and Michael Chiesa. He’s now in top-10 contention.

Then there’s Luque. Always a crowd-pleaser, he broke out of a losing streak by scoring over Rafael dos Anjos last year. Before that, he lost to Muhammad and succumbed to Geoff Neal’s strikes. That was his first career losing streak. But don’t count him out. Before those two losses, “The Silent Assassin” had won 10 of his last 11 fights. His only loss was against Stephen Thompson. Luque is just two stoppage victories shy of Matt Brown’s welterweight record (15). His eight post-fight bonuses are two behind divisional leader Chris Lytle (10).

The UFC on ESPN show on March 30 will be a treat for fans in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It’s the first time since April 2018 that they’ll get to see the action live. The likely co-featured matchup? A flyweight title eliminator between Erin Blanchfield and Manon Fiorot.

There are other key pairings on the fight card too. Chris Weidman vs. Bruno Silva at welterweight, Dominick Reyes vs. Carlos Ulberg in the light heavyweight division, and Virna Jandiroba against Lupita Godinez in a strawweight clash. It’s gonna be a night packed with adrenaline and action. Don’t miss it!
