UFC 49 is officially in the books. ‘Unfinished Business’-led card took place at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, 18 years ago. Traditionally, UFC has handed out bonuses for Fight of the Night, Submission of the Night, and Knockout of the Night. The bonuses ranged from $20,000 up to $120,000. In 2014, the promotion has announced the Performance of the Night bonuses will replace the existing Knockout and Submission of the Night awards. The bonuses will be $50,000 each. There are two types of awards:

- Performance of the Night is awarded to fighters who put on the best individual performance.
